Connection tunnel for the Brussels fair in Belgium

20/12/2016 - A special project for Brussels Expo with 5 extensible tunnels Giulio Barbieri

Brussels Expo, one of Belgium's most important fairgrounds, it was required to connect the exhibition pavilions with mobile covers that, once closed, would not obstruct the assembly and disassembly operations at the beginning and end of the events.

Loading bayThe winning solution was to install five ready-made aluminium Ready Box 2 tunnels, made up of fixed modules complete with anti-panic doors positioned near the halls access, 25 m long, and 6 m wide retracting modules to allow the passage of vehicles for fitting and disassembling stands. To allow for optimal internal brightness, the sliding roofs have been fitted with large windows and LED lamps integrated into the structure.

The management of the fair has expressed its full enthusiasm for the work done and the reliability demonstrated by our company.
Giulio Barbieri reports: ''Despite initial difficulties due to changes in ground level and position out of alignment of the inputs, our design team was able to satisfy all customer requirements in full compliance with European Safety standards."
