Fortore Energia S.p.A. from Lucera is a leading company operating in the renewable energy sector who has recently equipped its headquarters with Pensilsole, a 30 kW solar panel carport that covers most of the company’s energy needs and can be used to recharge its electric cars.
The company boasts the construction and management of more than 300 MW in wind farms and solar panels.
“Powered by our history, we felt we had to express our philosophy, always oriented towards the generation of clean energy and sustainable mobility, right here, in our corporate headquarters,” says the engineer Massimiliano Maddalena. “The company comprises about 8000 square meters and has a large parking lot. Because of this we wanted to expand the small solar carport already present on the roof of the headquarters by installing a 30kW solar panel carport for 10 cars.

In this way, we can provide shelter to staff vehicles while producing the energy necessary to cover almost all the company’s needs. We have also equipped the canopy with a column to recharge our small fleet of electric cars.
