The French company Solumat Vinci Construction of Vierzon chose the Ready Box 4 covered walkway in order to protect the rail transport of cleaning and painting materials.
First of all, the customer expressed their need to protect as far as possible materials being transported form the rain and wind. The project was thus developed with the sliding tracks of the retractable tunnel buried so that the PVC fabric canopy could go right down to the ground, better protecting the internal area, where, with the use of a series of windows in transparent PVC Crystal, natural lighting is ensured.
The buried tracks also resolved a secondary requirement, which was that of making the area accessible to vehicles once the tunnel is closed. In the following photo you can see the lean-to connecting tunnels attached to the production facilities, the tunnels are joined in the centre and once closed enable the transit of vehicles.
