WHAT IS SANITARY GATE

Sanitary Gate is a tested, safe, and effective method to sanitise people and objects in just 5 seconds, killing up to 99% of any pathogenic microbes on the surfaces, including COVID-19.

HOW IT WORKS

The sanitising method of Sanitary Gate consists in nebulising Drop 360°, a hydroalcoholic sanitising solution produced exclusively for Giulio Barbieri, or any other kind of disinfectant or sanitiser through a high precision system integrated inside a retractable tunnel.

The tunnel retains the atomised sanitising product which saturates the environment.  In this way, it is possible to disinfect all surfaces, even in the most hidden places.

The system can nebulise sanitising solutions in a concentrated formula to be diluted with water from the mains or in a ready-to-use diluted formula.

SPRAYING SYSTEM

The spraying system is available in the following versions:
A) Spraying system with an electric hydraulic pump that can use either a concentrated product mixed with mains water with the help of an integrated dosing unit or a ready-to-use blend;
B) A compressed air spraying system for a ready-to-use blend with pneumatically operated components, which do not need to be connected to the power supply.

DROP 360° is a hydroalcoholic sanitising solution, produced exclusively for Giulio Barbieri, which can be sprayed on people and objects. The active ingredients of the solution have been well known for a long time and are included in the lists of authorised active ingredients of disinfectants in Italy as also reported in the ISS COVID-19 report.

Drop 360° properties:

• No toxicological, irritative dermal, inhalatory, or ocular effects were found in people undergoing the treatment. The concentration of the active ingredients is very low and is such as to avoid any irritating effects that the components have shown at high concentrations and for much longer exposure times than the actual conditions of use recommended by the Sanitary Gate method;
• Eco-compatibility;
• Persistent effect over time due to the coexistence of active ingredients with different mechanisms of action;
• Absence of chlorinated agents;
• The product does not stain or make the treated surfaces wet.

Despite the proven safety of the product, as a precautionary measure for people who are allergic or hypersensitive to chemical components, the use of a mask is mandatory when crossing the tunnel.

Effectiveness

The Sanitary Gate sanitation method is effective with the use of Drop 360°, as was demonstrated by an in vivo test performed at the headquarters of Giulio Barbieri S.r.l. During the test, an operator went through the tunnel, exposing contaminated surfaces to the spray for 5 seconds.
At the end of the treatment, the residual microbial contamination was measured, giving the following results: Drop 360° in concentrated formula diluted to 10% has been shown to reduce pathogenic microbes present on surfaces by 90% (from 10,000 to 1,000), while Drop 360° in the ready-to-use diluted formula achieved a 99% reduction (from 10,000 to 100).
