Giulio Barbieri S.r.l. designed and manufactured the first marquees and retractable tunnels in 1990. In a short time it became a leading firm through its trade of aluminium modular structures, gaining reliability and respect among international contacts in this sector.
Born on 30 January 1956, in Vigarano Mainarda (Ferrara, Italy), Giulio Barbieri is the eldest of three brothers. At the age of 5, his father died. He continued to study but without much success. After leaving primary school, he enrolled at the IPSIA professional institute to obtain a qualification in mechanics.

The Giulio Barbieri S.r.l. manufacturing plant is located within the renovated buildings of an old farmhouse dating back to the early 1900s in part of an estate of around 90,000 m2.
The company occupies a total area of 35,000m2 and the division of its manufacturing, sales and administrative areas was carefully designed in order to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of all company activities.
The conversion of the old barn into the sales and marketing offices is of particular architectural interest. The identity of the original building has been respected and enhanced thanks to targeted restoration work using the latest technologies.
